Youth society is a valuable resource of any country. National development and progress is largely dependent on the active participation of society. Because the economic, social and cultural environment of a nation is built around their talent, creativity, courage and talent. The most progressive, productive and sensitive section of the population is the youth. The Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh created the Ministry of Youth Development in 1978, which was later renamed as the Ministry of Youth and Sports, for the purpose of engaging the unorganized job-seeking unemployed youth in well-organized, orderly and productive activities. The Directorate of Youth Development was created in 1981 to implement the activities of the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the field level. Chitalmari upazila office youth program started from 1994.
