Mission of the Department: In order to achieve the vision of the Department of Youth Development, the mission has been determined as follows:
To provide training to unemployed youth through 64 district and 498 upazila offices and 101 training centers of the country.
To strengthen youth activities in all districts and upazilas of the country through internet connection.
Involve them at every level in the development process of the country, including engaging them in employment and self-employment through motivational training, micro-credit and other necessary assistance for the empowerment of the youth.
To organize the youth in different groups to help in group development through private voluntary youth organizations.
Increase the number of youth organizations at the sustainable level and ensure their participation in the participatory development process.
Involvement of youth in socio-economic activities such as mass education activities, disaster management, primary health care, environmental development, resource conservation, etc. and elimination of anti-social activities, prevention of drug abuse, h. I. V. (H) and s. T. D. Raise awareness on the subject.
Give young people the opportunity to participate in decision-making.
